Walt Disney World

We had a fabulous time in Disney World! I've always been told a picture is worth a thousand words so I guess 550 pictures are worth 550,000 words! Yes, we took 550 pictures last week on vacation. We were there 8 days and we were busy, busy the entire time. Since we took so many pictures, I will blog individually about each day so check back during the week for more entries and pictures.

On Monday morning, we flew from Tulsa to St. Louis to Orlando. All our flights were on time so, thankfully, all went well.
We didn't tell the boys but we had a limo reserved to take us from the airport to our Disney resort. So, when the driver escorted us outside to our 'ride', Austin and Kamden were SO excited. They didn't quit smiling the whole ride. Austin told us people were going to think we were famous and they were going to ask him for his autograph.

Surprise!

We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter resort.
Our maid had us a Mickey Mouse face made of towels waiting on our bed for us. The boys really liked all the towel creations we had each day. When we checked in, Kamden got a button to celebrate his birthday and both boys got a 1st visit button. We were told to wear the buttons all the time because the park employees would see them and acknowledge you. Kamden had so many people tell him happy birthday and one day he got a pirate bandana from a worker. Monday evening we rode the boat to Downtown Disney. The boys loved all the life-size Lego creations. Outside the Lego store they had a play area where you can make and race a Lego car. Kamden's car won his race but Austin lost his.

We also rode the Mary Poppin's air balloon. It took us up about 400 feet in the air.

This was the end of our first day at Disney.
