Smart Boys

Austin and Kamden got their report cards this week and they are both $20 richer. Heath told them if they made straight A's that he would give them $20. Guess what? They both had all A's and he had to pay up. :)

Family Traditions

Last night, we had our annual pumpkin carving at the Neal household. So...here are the pictures:

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

JHS Homecoming 2012

Last weekend we went to Jena for our high school's homecoming. It was Heath's 20 year reunion! Man, he's getting old! HA! He had to attend a meeting in Houston for work on Friday so he missed all the fun activities of the day like the parade and the pep rally. I picked him up at the Alexandria airport Friday evening and we made it to the game right at kick-off time. After the game, they had a party at one of their classmate's house and we had a good time visiting with everyone.

Austin and Kamden at the pep rally with some of their cousins and friends from Jena.

My beautiful cousin, Somer, and her escort. She was chosen to be a senior homecoming maid. We are so proud of her and I CAN NOT believe she's graduating this year!!

More cousins...waiting on the parade.

The Fair

Yeaterday Austin had a baseball game in Cabot. They won and their team is undefeated. Austin played well and he got the game ball. He has received the game ball 2 out of 5 games for playing good. That is more that any other player on his team. We are so proud of him.

After the game, we went to the Little Rock state fair. The boys had a great time riding all the rides.

Fair Food! The best thing about the fair!!

Searcy Sluggers

It's baseball time again. Austin is playing fall ball and his team is the Searcy Sluggers. We have a team from Searcy but we play all our games on Saturdays in Cabot, which is about 40 minutes away. Kamden wanted to play but he couldn't because there was no team his age in Searcy so maybe next year he'll get to play. Austin's first game of the season was at the beginning of September and he had lots of spectators. Paw Paw Rusty, Nonnie, Maw Maw Rat & MiMi came to watch him play. He was so excited to have family watch him play since he usually doesn't have anyone but me & Heath to watch him. Well, he put on a show for them. He got several good hits including the only HOMERUN of the game and he pitched really good. I took my camera last weekend and got a few pictures. So here they are.

Austin's First Date

Yes, I said date! I know, I can hardly believe it either. I never dreamed I would be buying corsages and sendig my son off on his first date this soon but it happened... last weekend. Searcy High School's Homecoming was Friday and Austin and his girlfriend, Jessica (what a great name, don't ya think? HA!) went to the game. They went with Jessica's parents and they had a good time in spite of the rain and cold weather. These are some pictures her mom sent me.

Supposedly, the bleachers were wet so they were sitting on a trash bag; that's why they are so close. :)
