Surprise, Surprise!!!

A couple of Fridays ago, I got a nice surprise. Daddy and Momma came for a visit. I was in the tub and Austin came running in screaming, "Nonnie's here, Nonnie's here!!". I have been training since February to run my first 5K race(3.1 miles) so they came to watch me run. Then again, maybe that was just an excuse to come see the boys. :) The race was at the Aquarium and they also had a 1 mile fun run/walk. Austin wanted to participate in the race so he talked his Nonnie into doing the fun run with him. They finished their race and got blue ribbons. Austin ran most of it and finished in a little over 12 minutes. I ran all of mine and finished in 31:05 minutes. Out of 58 runners in my age group, I finished 22nd. We had so much fun; I can't wait to do the next one in a couple of weeks. Here are some pictures.
